Meet Our Staff:


Mark S. Watkins, CPA

Mark worked for BKD, LLP and KPMG Peat Marwick prior to joining Bell Foster Johnson & Watkins, LLP. He also had his own practice as a CPA.  A graduate of Louisiana Tech in Ruston, LA, Mark has more than 25 years of public accounting experience. 

His experience in public accounting includes audits, reviews and compilations for a variety of clients, as well as individual and corporate tax planning and preparation.  Additionally, he has extensive experience in employee benefit plans, including 401(k) plans.  Mark has been a speaker or moderator at various continuing professional education seminars. 

Mark is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of Public Accountants.

While I love the creative and technical aspects, the true joy of this profession lies in the relationships with the people we serve.  Each day I have the opportunity to help someone strengthen their business, understand their company’s financial position, develop strategic policies or secure their financial future.  I feel very privileged to be able to do that.



 

Tim N. Johnson, CPA

Tim graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He has over 15 years of service in public accounting with one of the top 10 accounting and advisory firms in the country as well as several years as controller of a privately held company. He is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of Public Accountants. He specializes in services to the construction and real estate industry, family-owned businesses, consolidated and multi-state entities, individuals, estates and trusts. He has in-depth expertise in business and personal income taxation and consulting, estate and gift tax strategies, asset protection strategies, multiple-entity structuring, state Nexus issues and coordinated tax planning for businesses and their owners.


   

George W. Foster, CPA

George has over 30 years experience in public accounting as a CPA. He was formerly chairman of the Peer Review Committee of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was owner and president of Foster, Fleming & Company, P.A. until December 2002. He has experience in a variety of industries, including financial institutions. George provides auditing, accounting and tax services and his clients have included nonprofit organizations, HUD organizations (both profit and nonprofit), utilities, governmental organizations, retailers and financial institutions. He is also a qualified peer reviewer for reviews of CPA firms conducted under the provisions of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Peer Review Program.


Seaborn J. Bell, Jr., CPA

Seaborn has more than 28 years experience in the accounting industry, both in the private industry and in public accounting. He specializes in services to the construction industry, small businesses, and estates and trusts. Seaborn was owner and president of Seaborn J. Bell & Company, P.A. until December 2002. He is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Arkansas Society of Public Accountants, and American Society of Accountants.
